Instagram has been slowly turning into TikTok for years.
Now TikTok, it seems, is ready to do the same in reverse.
Tiktok Photos, which has yet to be officially announced, appears to be an upcoming app from ByteDance, the Chinese tech company that owns TikTok.
It's said to be a dedicated photo-sharing app, which is specifically what Instagram was before that platform changed.
Little is known about TikTok Photos, other than a reference to the app found by assembleDebug.
A post on TheSPAndroid blog notes that the TikTok app already includes text — likely to roll out to users in the coming weeks — guiding users through setting up a new app called "Tiktok Photos."
