Elton John has recently spoken about his plans for the future and has given some not-so-good news to all his fans.
In an interview given to 'NME', John revealed that after finishing the tour he will retire from the stage in order to spend more time with his family.
"At the moment I finish the tour supposedly in 2023, in the summer, by which time I will be 76 years old and that's it. I can't wait to do it and have a great time, finish and say, 'No more, I've had enough.' I'll be making records and doing my own radio show, but as far as shows go I've had quite a bit of success. I want to be with my family. I want to be with my boys. I will still be creative, but I don't want to spend the rest of my life flying here or there," the singer confessed.
Recently, John has scored another achievement with the latest song "Cold Heart" which he brought in collaboration with Dua Lipa.
Quite happy about this, Dua made a post on Instagram, where she expressed all the joy that this success had given her.
"Britain Number 1 - Cold Heart with Elton John. To share this moment with my musical hero and dear friend means everything to me !! What a magical day and trip this has been. Thank you and I love you", wrote Dua in the post.
