An economist decided to strip in the middle of a BBC Radio 4 radio show, leaving the host stunned.
Academician Victoria Bateman took off her coat and became naked, while showing the sentence "Brexit left Britain naked".
John Humphrys suffered the shock of his life as he said: "Yes, you are naked. Why did you feel the need to take off your clothes? Isn't this mania to look?".
He asked this question also in connection with the fact that this action had been taken by her before. While she said that leaving the European Union is like "the emperor's new clothes".
"I've heard a lot of talk about why Brexit is bad for Britain. But I thought it would be more helpful to write them and convey a powerful message. "Britain has a lot of problems right now and the EU is not the cause of them," said Victoria Bateman.
Asked about the action, she said:
"I am very comfortable with my body, I see women's bodies as one of the big battles we face today."
