Mounir Nasraoui, the father of Barcelona and Spain's young footballer Lamine Yamal, was stabbed "several times". The stabbing happened on Wednesday evening in a parking lot in the town of Mataro, about 32 kilometers east of downtown Barcelona, according to Spanish daily La Vanguardia.
Fortunately, Nasraoui managed to recover from his injuries and is now at home out of danger. He wanted to reassure everyone with a post on social networks, thanking everyone who supported him.
"Thank you all for the support. I'm better now, a big hug to everyone", Mounir wrote on social networks where he has gained thousands of followers since his son became a star of Barcelona and Spain.
