The parents of the coach of the National Hope team, Alban Bushi, lost their lives in an accident.
The incident took place on "Egnatia" street, on the North-Thessalonica axis, near Kouloura Imathias. The van with license plate PMX-8942, driven by 47-year-old Greek Marios Simitliotis, collided with the "Mercedes-Benz" type vehicle with Albanian license plate AB 454 GF, driven by 75-year-old Albanian Ali Bushi.
As a result of the collision, 75-year-old Ali Bushi and 71-year-old passenger Bukurije Bushi lost their lives. The Greek citizen, who was arrested by the police, was also slightly injured.
It is learned that the two victims are the parents of Alban Bushi, former footballer of the Albanian National Football Team, currently coach of the U-21 National Team.
Alban Bushi is the former attacker of the Albanian National Team, who has scored 14 goals with the red and black team. He is already the coach of the U-21 National Team since 2016, who has led the Hopes in 58 matches.
