After the serious event recorded at a festival in Germany, where the author of the attack that left three people dead is still being sought, the police in Germany are calling for caution in the city of Solingen.
"People in the city center should be careful," said a Düsseldorf police spokesman. "Anyone who sees a suspicious person should immediately call 110 and not talk to them."
A large number of officers are involved in the search, which stretches across the city. Roadblocks have been set up and special units have been deployed.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz says that the suspect "must be caught quickly and punished to the full extent of the law".
