Pamela Anderson seems like all she wants to do is move on. The well-known actress in a recent interview stated that what she wants is for the world to recognize her for who she is today, distancing herself from the image that once dominated magazine covers and television screens.
She later denied any connection to the new documentary series Baywatch, which airs on Hulu.
“Someone showed me something that Hulu is doing, a Baywatch kind of documentary, that I have nothing to do with,” Anderson clarified, despite rumors that members of the original cast may be involved.
"They brought out an old interview, but I didn't participate. They begged everyone around me to get me into the game. They even tried through my children to get me on board by offering them production credits,” she told Glamor magazine.
In fact, Pamela Anderson pointed out that the producers did everything for her to participate, but nothing could make her go back to the old days. "They really did everything. But I told them, 'No, I really don't want to go back.'
Last month, she said in an interview that when she was telling her past, she thought she had created a monster. She herself has already given up the heavy make-up and as she stated she is trying to find herself again. 'I dress myself, do my own hair and do everything I need to do with my hair. I'm thinking, maybe I'll put some lip balm on. I'm learning how to paint all over again, at the age of 57. […] In the photo sessions I went to I saw people with huge wigs and endless eyelashes. And I was thinking, she wasn't me. I didn't think others saw me that way. When I looked back at my past, I thought I created a monster. So this journey has made me vulnerable to the public. Sounds a bit like open heart surgery to me. I feel as long as it's authentic and exciting, I'll keep going. Because she is me, whether some people like it or not. […]”- she said.
