A few days ago, Instagram was blocked in Turkey, without giving a concrete reason for this decision. The news was announced by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority.
Although there was no motive for this ban, it was hinted that the social network was blocked due to censoring posts condoling the elimination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in an airstrike at his residence in Tehran, Iran.
But, recently, Turkey has trapped also access to the online gaming platform Roblox, saying that the platform's content is inappropriate and may lead to child abuse.
"Our country has the duty to guarantee the protection of our children. Using technology in a negative way is never acceptable", said Yilmaz Tunç, Minister of Justice in Turkey.
Therefore, Roblox has launched an investigation, which led to a global level of platform restriction.
