Blendi Fevzi's video, which featured a woman who looked a lot like the Albanian singer Parashqevi Simaku, made the rounds of the network today. After verifications, ICONSTYLE proved that it was about the great Albanian artist (read here). After the video was commented by Albanians, Fevziu said that he has communicated with some businessmen from New York, who have offered to find him and offer him help.
"In the last 48 hours on my Instagram account I have received from my followers the same video. It is about the video of the "ABC7" channel of New York, the most watched channel of the city, in which a lady named Simaku and with an American name appears, who benefits from assistance as homeless or "homeless" as it is called in United States of America for Christmas. I threw this video because the claim of a large part of those who started to me was that it is the great artist Parashqevi Simaku. Today, almost 12 hours after it has been on my Instagram profile, I have received hundreds of messages giving me even more information about it. It is Parashqevi Simaku, the Albanian singer, who left in 1991 for the USA. I last met Parashqevi Simaku in 1995, at the time when she had started living in Los Angeles and was aiming for Hollywood. As of today, all the information tells me that she is homeless, she is without any financial assistance and lives on the benefits she receives as a homeless person. Today, important American businessmen, well-known people of New York have contacted me and told me that they have made available their lawyers, or people who deal with finding people. At the moment, when some people spoke to her in Albanian, she reacted and left, not wanting to be found. They are looking for where she is, what she does, and it is definitely in the dignity of the Albanian state to offer her a normal pension, as an artist who has left her mark on Albanian art."- said Fevziu.

After the virality, the doctor cousin of Parashqevi Simaku has indicated that the artist is ill, and that they do not know where she is (read here).
