Pamela Anderson is among the nominations for the Golden Globe, for her already much talked about performance in the film "The Last Showgirl", which marked her return to Hollywood, but also the change of her artistic image.
Asked by a reporter how she found out she had been nominated for the prestigious award, she said:I am a morning person. So I woke up a little after five o'clock and saw that "The Last Showgirl" group chat was crazy. That's how I found out.
She said none of this would have happened if her son, Brandon, hadn't given her the script:
“It's strange, isn't it? I'm glad I took part", she answered with a laugh and added: “He's great, he's a visionary and he kind of orchestrated my comeback. He produced my documentary [Brandon Thomas Lee is the producer of Pamela, a Love Story]. That's how Gia [Coppola, director of 'The Last Showgirl'] discovered me, seeing a person who really wanted to express herself artistically.'
Asked if she will be accompanied by her son at this year's awards ceremony, the actress replied in the affirmative.
