Meet Beacon, the "hero" dog who is helping contestants in Paris manage stress

Mental health is a major focus for the Team USA Gymnastics team.

For example, meet Beacon, who is working hard at the Paris 2024 Olympics as a therapy dog. Beacon has traveled all the way to France with Team USA to help the gymnastics team keep the athletes calm during training sessions and competitions.

He emerged as an unexpected hero for Team USA Gymnastics, and along with his handler Tracey Callahan Molnar, Beacon has been providing emotional support to athletes since May 2023, helping their morale and helping them manage stress.
