Citizens report permanent and prolonged delays of the Bari-Tirana line with WizzAir. The last time the flight was delayed for 12 hours – instead of leaving at 23pm, it left the next day at 00am.
Albanians still treated as refugees, trampled underfoot even in 2024, lay on the airport floors and cafes that are open every evening just for them, since the check-in done hours before departure does not allow them to leave.
An Italian couple, who came to visit Tirana for just one day, found it impossible to turn back after their suitcases had left.
Despite the countless denunciations, there is no reaction from the state, from the Civil Aviation Authority that grants licenses for flights and is responsible for control, from the Ministry of Tourism or a reflection from the responsible companies themselves.
The silence of the state and the media clearly shows their connections with an oligarch commanding hand, which controls the press and our institutions.
WizzAir, the company of scandals, must be sanctioned urgently for the nightmare it is causing to citizens, while after repeated cases that seem to continue all summer, it has not yet deigned to make any official statement.
The limited number of planes, the delays over 6-7 hours, the lack of clarification and compensation for passengers and the hiding of this scandal by the media bought by these companies, make WizzAir the airline that should be suspended an hour ago!
