The wedding of Dafina Zeqiri and Kreshnik Gjergji was a magical event that attracted everyone's attention. Every detail of it was widely commented on social media, where the most special moments from the ceremony went viral. One of the moments that stood out was Dafina's entrance into the wedding, as she approached Kreshnik to start the first dance as husband and wife, accompanied by the voice of Shpat Deda, who performed live.
In an interview for the show "Canape" on T7, Shpati shared the emotions of this special moment and told how his idea to sing at this ceremony was shaped.
"Dafina is an old friend, now also Kreshniku, I have both close friends. One day, Dafina contacted me and asked me to sing at their wedding, just as they were about to start the first dance. He asked me to sing a song from 'Footprints' that I hadn't heard before, a song called 'You'. It was just a demo, but awesome and with a sweet feel. She also asked me to sing 'Forever' on the guitar as she entered. It was a unique request and I felt extremely honoredr," he confesses.
