Jennifer Lopez is proud of her latest project!
On Saturday, September 7, the singer and actress, 55, shared some special moments on Instagram from the premiere of her film Unstoppable 's Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) the night before.
Lopez first shared a photo of herself beaming in her dazzling silver floor-length Tamara Ralph gown as she was joined on stage by other cast members, including the person she plays in the film, mother Anthony Robles' Judy, who can be seen resting her head on the star's shoulder. Anthony – on whom the film is based – and cast members Bobby Cannavale, Don Cheadle and Jharrel Jerome were also in the picture.
Lopez then shared two videos on her post that highlighted the standing ovation the film received after its TIFF premiere.
"I can't wait for you guys to see this movie!!!! This is my favorite shot from what was one of the most magical nights I think I've ever had with a movie." Lopez wrote in her caption.
"In addition to playing Selena, playing the role of Judy Robles and bringing her struggles and triumphs to life with her amazing son, Anthony Robles, was one of the great honors of my life.” she continued, referring to her role as Selena Quintanilla Pérez. in the singer's 1997 biography.
Unstoppable follows the real-life story of wrestler Anthony, who was born with one leg and won an NCAA national championship in 2011 for Arizona State University.
