An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 has hit Thessaloniki and all of Northern Greece.
According to the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, the powerful tremor occurred at 19:05 on Sunday afternoon.
The epicenter of the earthquake is located 12 kilometers southwest of the sea area of Nea Moudania, in Halkidiki, while the depth was only 15.9 kilometers, so it was felt excessively.
So far, there are no reports of damage to people or materials, but testimonies from citizens show that it caused panic, especially among the residents of the upper floors.
