The Tirana Folk Ensemble, part of the Metropol Theater, managed to reach the final in the biggest folk festival "Cheonan World Dance Festival 2024" in Seoul, South Korea.
The Tirana ensemble competed among the ensembles of countries such as Ecuador, Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, North Macedonia, Poland, Lithuania, Kosovo, Slovakia, Germany, Bulgaria, Russia, France, Romania, Turkey, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, China, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.
The participation of the Tirana Folk Ensemble in this festival is a very important event for Albania, as it expresses the identity values of Albanian folklore, combining tradition with innovation over the years.
