A few months ago, Demi Lovato announced herself as gender indeterminate. The singer said that from now on he doesn't want to be called her, but them. Demi gave this news through a post on social networks.
"This has come after a lot of healing and self-reflective work. I'm still learning and coming into my own, and I don't claim to be an expert or spokesperson. Sharing this with you now opens up another level of vulnerability for me. I'm doing this for those out there who haven't been able to share who they really are with their loved ones. Please continue to live in your truths and know that I am sending so much love your way," Demi Lovato expressed.
The singer appeared on the "Today" show to talk about life after changing his pronouns to he/she in May, and joked that one day he hopes to be an 'uncle' (a term that refers to a half-aunt and half uncle/uncle).
"I am both masculine and feminine. My masculine and feminine energies are equal, so much so that I can wear a dress and heels now, but I don't identify as just a woman, or just a man, but I identify as both," she said.
