Grammy Award winner Adele paused the second night of her concert to watch the Olympic women's 100m final on giant screens in Messe München's 80,000-seat outdoor arena.
"Adele stops her show to watch Sha'Carri Richardson in women's 100m final at the Olympics!" wrote one fan on X with a clip of the silent crowd watching the race.
Team USA's Richardson eventually took silver in 10.87 and her teammate Melissa Jefferson won bronze in 10.92. It was Saint Lucia's Julien Alfred who won the first gold medal with a time of 10.72.
Two years into the tour, Adele said she plans to take a break after the next few shows.
"I have no plans for new music at all,” she said last month. "I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while."
