Lorenc Rrapa, the father of a minor boy suspected of abuse by a kindergarten teacher, spoke about his concerns in an interview with Euronews Albania. He stressed that his son has gone through a traumatic experience and is now seeking a psychologist to treat the consequences of the psychological and physical violence he has experienced.
"I am looking for a psychologist in the state to treat my son, but so far I have not been able to find a solution," he said, adding that his son's condition is not normal and that he has been abused in a double way, psychologically and physically.
Lorenci says he has tried to get professional help for his son, seeking a social worker or psychologist at Administrative Center No. 14, but has not yet found a solution, as they are either busy or on vacation. This has added more pressure and frustration to him.
He also denounced the pressure exerted by the brother of Rudina Gërdani, the educator who is suspected of abusing the minor, emphasizing that he spent most of his time at Police Station No. 6, where he filed a report about this pressure.
Another concern of Lorenc is that educator Rudina Gërdani has not yet been arrested, despite 48 hours having passed since the case was reported. He stressed that the police officer had explained to him that they were working on an arrest, but there had been no concrete results yet.
Lorenci has made it clear that he is determined to seek justice for his son and ensure that this case ends as soon as possible, while he has requested support from institutions to ensure the health and safety of his child.
