Today, Tirana has turned on the lights of the New Year's tree, as the festive atmosphere has already arrived in the capital.
The big fir is located in the center of Tirana, in "Skënderbej" square, where there are also a number of service and entertainment booths for visitors.
Many citizens were present at the fir tree lighting ceremony.
What stands out is that there are five fir trees in the square, one big one in the center and three small ones around it.
