The well-known actor in Greece, Nikos Gelia, has spoken again about the racism he suffered when he was younger because of his Albanian origin and has CLUE his advice for any child experiencing something similar.
Asked if he ever thought of keeping his Albanian origins a secret, the actor answered for the Greek magazine: "No, it never occurred to me to hide my origin."
On the advice she would give to a child experiencing racism due to nationality, Gelia commented:
"Let's continue", I would say. I have always had this in mind. The value you give people is what you decide to give them. Whatever happens around you, see your goal, move forward and leave everything else. If a man has to say something, he will say it...".
Also, if there have been any difficult collaborations during his career, the actor said:
"I'm not like that as a person either, so it's a little difficult for something to happen to me."
