The latest idea of the famous actor Ashton Kutcher for the inclusion of Artificial Intelligence in the creation of films in Hollywood, has not been liked at all by the public who have not hesitated to express their attitude against
Kutcher has been criticized all over the web for proposing the possibility of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create movies and TV shows. Speaking to former Google CEO Eric Schmidt in Los Angeles, the actor praised OpenAI's Sora app for video.
"I have a version of it in the review stage and it's pretty amazing. You can create anything you want. You can make good 10, 15 second videos that look very real. Still doesn't understand physics well…But if you look at the generation of what it was a year ago compared to Sora, it's shining in a very short time. You just have an idea for a movie, then he'll write the script, then you'll take the script to video production and he'll make the movie", the actor said according to Variety.
Ashton Kutcher is facing backlash over comments about AI, particularly OpenAI's text-to-video model, Sora.
In a recent interview, Kutcher said, "Why would you go out and shoot an establishing shot of a house in a television show when you could just create the establishing shot... pic.twitter.com/1MyFrWfXRk

The actor and tech investor said that it will not make sense to make movies in the traditional way when AI is fully developed and noted that it will also save a lot of money.
The comments sparked backlash from makers at Hollyeood. Former Rick & Morty writer Katie Delaney commented: “When you remove people from a collective and creative pursuit, you literally lose humanity. An empty, dumb, meaningless shell. Television will have the same artistic value as dish soap".
Screenwriter Ash Lazer commented: "You train him to replace you and your child's dreams."
The actor mentioned that the use of Artificial Intelligence saves resources by no longer having to hire writers, visual effects artists to create stories and content.
SAG-AFTRA member Damon Gonzalez wrote in a post on X: "Greed will always come first. Just because you can save money, you should use only a minimal cost of human works. As consumers and filmmakers, we must reject this garbage.”
